Cultural reggae singer Elijah Saint Prophet is gearing up to release a new album, 'Finger Pointing'.

The album is one of three to be released this year by him and will feature a collaboration, World Peace, with iconic reggae act Capleton.

Speaking with The WEEKEND STAR about the project, Prophet said the album will showcase his growth and will sit well with fans.

"This album will showcase me in a new light. My writing skills are more advanced, and even my vocals are more developed," he said. "The topic of each track varies, and I really think it will resonate well with the fans," he said. It is a good product, and the fans are asking for it."

The artiste added that the album carries positive messages and will motivate listeners to live in a manner reminiscent of kings and queens.

"It is all about life, the justice system, the words of Emperor Selassie I, the words of Marcus Garvey. This is the type of content that people are supposed to be listening to, abiding and living by. It's all about carrying ourselves like kings and queens and taking back the meaning of what it means to be a true and meaningful black man," he said. "We also have records that are not so preachy, so it's a variety of music combined and packaged for the album."

The artiste, who also released an album in 2017 called Chapter of My Life, explained his decision to release multiple albums in a single year.

"I have been working with Spanish producer Carles Pastor of Arise Productions, and I have been doing productions of my own. As a touring artiste, you have to create a catalogue so that you can always have new music for the world, as well as keep selling records.," he explained. "Back in the day when records were selling rapidly, you didn't have to release so many albums. However, now that sales have declined, when you find a niche market, you have to just give them music and relish in the support."

The artiste will also embark on tours of Europe and Africa in coming months under the management of Teddy Laidley Productions and Kevin Bailey.
