Nelson joins Walker on top of jockeys' race

Dane Nelson has joined Omar Walker at the lead of the jockey's race following Wednesday's action at Caymanas Park. Walker, who went into the race day as the leader with 12 wins from 35 starts remained on that number while Nelson moved up to 12 from 53 starts.

Nelson is ahead by virtue of having nine second place finishes to Walker's seven.

Champion trainer Wayne DaCosta is in front ahead of last year's trainer runner up Anthony Nunes with 14 winners to Nunes' 10.

Hamark Farms has the jump on the owner's race with more than $2.5 million in stakes to date.
